"The Gods of Rock Worship You." ™

Wannabe-Geek-Boy: "Wow, you're really good at drawing this anime stuff!"
Me (snort): "I know."
Wannabe-Geek-Boy: "So where'd you learn how to draw like that?"
Me (rolling eyes): "I watched RoboTech a lot when I was a kid. Liked the hair. And the big eyes."
Wannabe-Geek-Boy: "Oooh! That's a REALLY neat site! Is that yours?"
Me (Going into monologue-mode): "I freaking wish. I don't like the colorscheme much, but my man Mordrack's graphics are freaking awesome. He also happens to speak proper English. We share common ancestors, you and I, but even though they invented the language, I have not heard a single person speak it around here, oddly enough. Mordrack also plays T1 Magic. Which basically means he f*ing rocks out loud."
Wannabe-Geek-Boy: "Huh-wha...? Magic? (Backs away slightly) You a witch or something...?"

-sighs- I was better off in Jozi, sipping red wine in Melville on a Saturday afternoon, I reckon.

/me taps out to play Phage the Untouchable

PS: For those of you thinking of jumping ship and moving across the Big Blue: Don't do it, kids. You'll miss S.A. forever and ever. Sure, there's zero crime here, virtually. But there's also no sun, no swimming beaches, no bikini's and, most importantly, biltong and braaivleis is a foreign evil of which thou shalt not speak in public.

"Oooooooooo bring my terug na die Ou Transvaaaaaaal....!"

What's wrong with the colour scheme?

Hey gurl - why don't you log in and set the colour scheme to goth-gurl classic colours, red and black - as you like it :)

Don't feel bad about moving away...imagine how much better a summer visit here would be - and besides...all is not lost. Now I have a fan in New Zealand! ;)
